They can see what you rolled, and react if I roll a two-pair on my second throw and it beats my opponent's two-pair, s/he'll know to break one pair and attempt for 3-of-a-kind, giving an extra 50% chance to turn the game on me. The computer going second is definitely an advantage.
Especially the 'pro' players, they just seem to roll better. I don't know how large it is, but it's large enough that I'll only be able to win about 1 in every 3-5 'best of 3' rounds.
